Kuza presented updates on the Innovation project launched (in May 2019) for the BCI Field Facilitators across 5 Implementing Partners in Maharashtra & Gujarat at BCI’s Quarterly Scale Partner meet held in IDH Office, Gurgaon. Kuza shared the latest updates to the BCI Scale Partners (jointly undertaken by BCI & IDH) Cotton Connect, Lupin Foundation, Ambuja Cement Foundation, WWF, Basil Foundation, AFPRO on the standardized toolkit offered to the Field Facilitators to assess their skills gaps and bridge them through a personalised Learning path via the Digital Platform. Since being rolled out in May 2019, the tool has been widely used for building capacities across Better Cotton Initiative Principles (Crop Protection, Water Stewardship, Soil Health, Biodiversity, Fibre Quality, Decent Work, Management), Good Agricultural Practices of Cotton cultivation & Soft skills required for their day to day operations.
The Kuza team also presented the evaluation results, which showed that 97% of FFs found the Assessment Tool helpful & relevant, 99% FFs found the Video Modules helpful & relevant, 95% FFs found the Learning Cards relevant & extremely useful. The custom-developed Microlearning content got an average rating of 4.5 on a scale of 5. A business case for expansion of the tool across all Indian States, Pakistan and China were also deliberated on.
